Sega has confirmed that the Wii version of Virtua Tennis 2009 is on the way.

The game will be available in May 2009 and it is rumored that the new game Virtua Tennis is one of the first titles to support the new Nintendo Wii MotionPlus technology that will allow the Wii Remote for motion capture more accuracy.

Virtua Tennis 2009 will feature the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams. You will have the opportunity to slug it out in 40 colors, while modes online and offline are made to make this one of the best titles in the franchise yet
