Synology DiskStation DS1010+ and DS110j NAS
The DS1010 DiskStation + is based on the latest Intel Atom dual-core D510 1.66 GHz processor (actually nettop version of the N450), with up to 3 GB of RAM (1GB standard), and Synology after that it is 250 percent faster than the DS509 + performance of its predecessor. Synology NAS manufacturer have unmasked a pair of new external network drives, one for the crowd of small businesses and another more suited to home users.

The Synology DiskStation + DS1010 has five bays for internal hard disk and the potential for new housing with optional expansion, while DS110j DiskStation made do with a single drive. The DLNA media streaming support, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and having a clutch of USB 2.0 ports for connecting external drives or devices. As the five spans of board – each happy with a 3.5-inch to 2 TB hard disk – you can link to the DX510 five bay external enclosure, RAID 1, 5 or 6 configurations are supported, and there are two Gigabit Ethernet ports Four USB 2.0 ports and one eSATA port.
As for the DS110j DiskStation is a bit more welcoming, with just one Ethernet port and three USB 2.0 ports, a 800MHz processor and 128MB of RAM. However, it has media sharing and backup feature for the DS1010 + (but without RAID support, obviously). Both are available in the United States and Canada now, in both diskless and HDD-forms pre-installed. No word on how the Synology DiskStation + DS1010 comes in AT, but DS110j DiskStation is $ 150 without storage equipment.
