New Sony PSP 2; Rumours?

There have been rumors for some time now about a possible Sony PSP 2 in the works, we know with certainty that Sony has plans for a new version, as they strive to offer consumers the best gaming handheld experience.

Hopefully Sony has moved a step closer to giving us a new PlayStation Portable, with the news they have signed an agreement with Imagination Technologies Group plc. The company is the licensor of graphics processor cores, and their latest GPU is the PowerVR SGX graphics.

The sources said that imagination is to provide an update for the Sony PSP 2, and they provide SGX graphics processor core, which should be the SGX55x. Imagination already PowerVR MBX, which is used in the Apple iPhone 3G.
