Mircrosoft Exchange 2010 beta

The latest version of Microsoft’s collaboration and messaging software: Exchange Server 2010 public beta, raises the stakes against rival IBM Lotus Notes.

Exchange 2010 has many new features, including new integrated email archiving and productivity features, and options for customers who want to combine on-site and web hosted Exchange.

The new archiving feature in Exchange 2010 allows professionals to access e-mail through an Exchange organization using the software they already use. The aim is to protect and preserve valuable information. Productivity include: advice mail, voice mail preview, ignore the conversation and the conversation view.

Although it is still in beta yet. The full version should be available later in 2009.
