The S50 uses SD flash memory for storage. Video is recorded in MPEG-2 format used by regular consumer camcorders more standard definition, and data rates up to 10Mbits/sec. This means that a 16GB SDHC card will store over three hours of shooting, even setting the highest quality – enough for most uses. The S50 also supports the new memory format SDXC, he will accept 48GB and 64GB cards, the latter offering more than 13 hours of storage.

Most manufacturers will complete their level varies definition camcorder. But they still reject some new models for leftists who do not wish to make the leap to HD, or simply can not afford it yet. One of them is the Panasonic SDR-S50, which is located above the selection of standard definition now.

Such a tiny sensor does not bode well for low light performance, which we shall return later in this review. But it has increased. The S50 is capable of offering a real huge optical zoom while still retaining its compactness. The optical zoom extends to 70x, and is enhanced by improved zoom mode, which extends this to 78x. Since the sensor has more pixels than necessary for standard definition video, the frame can be grown without going below the total needed. This does not reduce the active surface, it will marginally reduce sensitivity to light, but it will not affect significantly the details.

Strategy with the Panasonic SDR-S50 is similar to the M31 with Canon HF LEGRIA. The basic specification camcorder is very similar to previous models, but higher end features have been added to sweeten the deal. Like the Panasonic SDR-S26, the S50 has a 1/8in CMOS sensor with only 800,000 pixels.

The NT2 LUMIX comes with a tight body that provides protection against immersion in water, dust and sand, with its padded rubber and glass reinforced alongside carbon inside. Not only that, panel cover for the NT2 Lumix LCD screen has also undergone a sort of thickening up to a factor of 1.3x compared to its predecessor, allowing it to withstand greater pressure on water.

Being anti-shock, it comes covered with a shock-resistant material and has a folded Optics Design that protects the lens falling during operation. An additional element was also introduced to provide additional protection for the lens unit, while all components have been tested in extreme temperatures before being sent to market.

Shooting-wise, the LUMIX NT2 does not disappoint with Sonic Speed AF (Auto Focus), which allows a response time Ultra-fast time of shutter delay shorter by about 0.005 seconds, Intelligent Resolution technology that improves the individual pixels which experience degradation on the zoom, a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens that covers a 4.6x optical zoom, a 2.7 “, 230,000-dot Intelligent LCD wide angle display that offers high visibility during recording and playback. No word on pricing yet, but we know it will come in silver, blue, orange and yellow colors.

The robust e used to be mighty expensive and ugly to boot, but it seems that Panasonic has managed to overcome this state of mind with their latest announcement, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-NT2 robust digital camera. It is the successor to the first model of the company that has been specially designed for active outdoor use, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-NT1, NT2 and the aptly named will now boast High Definition video recording capabilities AVCHD Lite that doubles the recording time compared to other conventional formats, a new 14.1-megapixel lens along with its ability to survive in harsh environments, without missing a beat, he can swim with fish at depths up to 33 feet (10m), is anti-shock 10-foot (2m) drops is freezeproof to 14 degrees F (-10 degrees C) and dust to boot, making makes it ideal for our brave men and women serving in combat positions respectively worldwide.

To make things more interesting, ZS7 LUMIX is also proud to bear the title of the smallest photo / Superzoom hybrid digital camcorder in the world to the point of publishing, is perfectly capable of recording videos in high definition (HD ) thank you video for its ability to record AVCHD Lite.

The inclusion of a dedicated button to save the video next to a shooting manual mode spice things is a little, which would mean a learning curve of sorts for beginners, while experienced shutterbugs who want to the jump to DSLR might want to check out the DMC – ZS7 before making the jump to get a better idea about the work of the control manually.

Other features available on the Panasonic Lumix ZS7 include Sonic Speed AF (Auto Focus), a time of shutter release time lag as short as about 0.006 seconds a short startup time of about 1.1 seconds, an automatic adjustment internal clock to local time, Intelligent resolution capability that has been incorporated into its Venus Engine HD. Hmmm, with its chipset GPS enabled, we hope that the battery can hold shoots during the marathon (or two 340 shots on a full charge), but just in case make a spare battery with you forever and as a portable charger.

This power of 12.1 megapixels performer also comes with a new integrated GPS (Global Positioning System) which will incorporate your photos and videos with both latitude and longitude details of locations, making it useful when downloading snapshots of your photos online on a sharing site, and also doubles as a history of sorts for you to refer to the future, when the memory starts to fail you in regard to holidays past.
