Logitec Japan announced the LHD-ED1000U2L, an average of 1 TB external hard drive with USB 2.0 and additional value of environmental friendliness.

There’s a number of different ports, but most interestingly is the socket called the Space Wire port that links up to the proprietary systems NASA, RSA and JAXA (space agencies of the US, Europe and Japan) use. It is reportedly going to cost around £1,500 pounds and it is only available in Japan.
