At first glance, could be mistaken for the AZ5600 an LCD screen, and it is reasonably designed – if a bit plastic – heavy machinery. Most ports are located on the back, in a deeply recessed panel is difficult to achieve without making the Acer desktop, but there are a few USB 2.0, memory card slot and the recorder DVD sides. A home button is in the middle band of between LCD and Articles speaker and the power button on the top edge, but otherwise most of the work is done via the touch screen. Two chrome legs on the switch back to adjust the screen angle overall, you will need to play with since the panel itself is quite brilliant. The Acer 2.33GHz Q8200 CPU Q9400 at 2.67GHz banks Sony, 5475 marking its 5445 overall Geekbench, keep in mind the Acer has half the RAM of the Sony, too.

Windows 7 Touch Screen PC are growing slowly in number, but all-in-one that we’ve seen have generally used mobile components rather than desktop. This gives a more compact machine, of course, but that does not mean that you miss on the processing power. Acer Aspire Z5600, however, packs a full desktop processor with 23-inch multitouch screen capable, and the company sent us over their review unit to see how well it performs.

Equally important, perhaps, the AZ5600 runs far cooler and quieter than the Sony managed flexing its muscle when it is called. We had no problems with multi-application performance intensive, such as video processing while simultaneously browsing. When we would see more grunt is Acer’s graphics chipset with the GMA X4500HD below in relation to supply GPU from ATI or NVIDIA.bOf course, the Acer 23-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD 16:9 screen is a touchscreen, and is one of the panels more reactive than we used recently. Windows 7 Home Premium has touched different specific customizations, but Acer support also created their own Acer TouchPortal soft leaning heavily toward the finger-gaming.
